The Vine by Lynn Gipson
John 15:15 (NLT)
"Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.”
Apart from Jesus, I can do nothing, yet with Him I can move mountains. He is the very vine from which the branch of my life stems. Before I knew Jesus, I was dead inside. Now I am very much alive. My life bears the fruits of my labor, and I am bountiful.
At this time of the year, with the coming of the Easter season, I am reminded of His vine whenever I see new ones coming forth, producing tiny branches. Without the vine there would be no new branches of life, and without Jesus, there would be no life for me.
