‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. John 15:20 New International Version
Just as Jesus suffered, so too do we when we are following our Master.
Are you ostrazed by your family for being a Christian and the cruelly make fun of you?
Jesus’ family considered Him insane and cruelly made fun of Him.
Are you being used by people?
Do they pretend to be interested in you teaching them about Jesus but are really just using you?
Most of the people who came to Jesus did so not to hear His word but rather because they wanted something from Him like healing.
When you try to share something Jesus has taught you are you viciously apposed to in your church, especially by the elders?
Look how the scribes and Pharisees treated Jesus?
Have you suffered for Christ?
If not, could it be because you are not truly serving Him above all others and all else?
Prayer: Jehovah ElHeenu (the Lord our God) I place You my beloved above all others. Thank you for being so gracious to heal me from the hurt caused by those who oppose my for dedicating my life to You.
Thank you and for blessing me with the wisdom and strength to carry on the narrow road. I give thanks in the name of He who suffered for us Jesus Christ. Amen.
