The Bible enjoins us in;
Ecclesiastes 3
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

When we have that constant tingling feeling of not impacting others as we should for eternity like God wants us to, it is time to seek.

Do you spend so much time doing things that you don't have time to examine what might be your purpose in life?

If your life suddenly becomes continually filled with more than you can chew at a particular point or you find yourself ‘rushed off your feet’ most of the time no matter what direction you face, none of these BUSY NESS seem to bring you joy….each day ends the same, you being sour, irritable, sad and even angry; then it’s possible you are not living a fulfilled life—a filled-up life is not necessarily a fulfilled life.

God in His infinite grace apportioned for each one He created a DIVINE DESTINED PURPOSE but unfortunately most people operate throughout their life-time under influence and distraction of the devil and different types of EARTHLY FORCES!

When you reach that point that you begin to realize as you slow down the pace of your life that you have been missing out on those things in life that really matter and you yearn continually for CHANGE then it is time to take that bold step of FAITH……… Successful living does not necessary translate from fulfilled life; quantity does not always mean quality.

If you are seeking God’s purpose for your life, then you’re searching for more than simple fulfillment of worldly desires and worldly ambition.

When you finally discover God’s purpose for your life, you’ll see that it involves more than a career or a job that you find fulfilling, or even one that provides you with the financial means to live well.

These things may be part of God’s purpose for your life but your whole God-given purpose on earth is divinely much more than just a job or a way to acquire material possessions.

Ecclesiastes 1
16 I communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am come to great estate, and have gotten more wisdom than all they that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great experience of wisdom and knowledge.
17 And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit.
18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.
Ecclesiastes 2
11 Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that I had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.
12 And I turned myself to behold wisdom, and madness, and folly: for what can the man do that cometh after the king? even that which hath been already done.
13 Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness.
14 The wise man's eyes are in his head; but the fool walketh in darkness: and I myself perceived also that one event happeneth to them all.
15 Then said I in my heart, As it happeneth to the fool, so it happeneth even to me; and why was I then more wise? Then I said in my heart, that this also is vanity.

Cause of worldly and ‘spiritual’ busyness
Being too “busy” to do the job? Your job, my job, has been given to each one of us by God for His good purpose which He expects us to fulfill while here on planet Earth.
Mathew 28-
7 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Someone once gave this testimony, “It was a successful step for our company when a new assistant was eventually hired in my department, especially for me personally and spiritually, it was a grand breakthrough! You ask why? The reason is that this new employee miraculously helped end a long period of time where I was entirely too “busy” to fulfill my God given job description”!
Church people are not exempt from this tidal wave of ‘devilish distraction‘, some people especially workers in the vineyard, those who in-most-cases have good intentions (some work in church only for …position’s sake, though!), zealous and willing to serve in the church that they get carried away especially during services
Many keep walking around during a Church service, exchanging ‘pleasantries’ with people coming and going, or with other workers, just simply hanging around to do their DUTY FOR THE DAY, that they simply miss-out on receiving from and being blessed by the day’s powerful sermon or ministration because they were not in the charged current and spiritual flow around them.

Self-Created Busyness

Some of the busy schedule that distract us are self-made and self-imposed, for those times when we have created the busyness for ourselves. The busyness could be the result of an over-zealous appetite for responsibilities or maybe a lack of intentional scheduling. Either way, we have brought this on ourselves and we need to correct the problem.

Environmentally caused Busyness

This type is caused by environmental factors and can be usually very difficult to correct. This is mainly because these are usually beyond our control. It could be the influence, persistence and meddlesomeness of family members on your life choices and plans I.e. concerning choosing a LIFE PARTNER, choice of course-of-study in the university, deciding for a profession, it could be a change in your duties and restriction at work, it could even be related to the overall economy of the Land that obviously affects your purse and home finances (God help you if you have a NAGGING and jezebel-like spouse….JEZEBEL, btw. is a spirit that in-duels MALE or FEMALE to hinder and oppress/suppress another or others around them).

The devil’s advocate type Busyness

Satan’s strategically organized network in the environment and immediate vicinity, through planted emissaries in the world especially in a person’s life through particular relationships... Family members, spouse and the influence in the choice of one, ‘friends’, colleagues even temporary contacts; these embark on a determined, systematic and continual attack in discouraging, distracting and suffering their victims by spiritual manipulation through oppression, suppression because of envious witchcraft that overwhelm and cause limitations and hindrances through organized and well-mapped out devilish methodology, the focus therein is an over-all grand plan to STEAL, KILL and DESTROY this person’s DIVINELY DESTINED PURPOSE

What to do?

What do we do to avoid unnecessary ‘busyness’ or what do we do when this happens through various sources and foundational reasons like covenants and curses in the family?
How do we take charge once we arrive at the point where we find ourselves in such a situation/problem and the AHA moment of realization that ALL IS NOT WELL even if ALL appears to be in ‘worldly terms’?

Whatever the cause, the solution is not always as simple as it is talking realistically and LOGICALLY, Jesus alone is our ‘immediate’ and FOUNDAMENTAL solution (for without Him we can do nothing), our immediate help in fulfilling our God-given job description when we are overwhelmed with BUSY

Shedding additional responsibilities especially in your regular job where possible would not be a bad idea giving you more time for your spouse and children and albeit it WILL not, God being involved, have an effect on your employment.

To do this, does not mean you should break any commitments, but that which you need to do is to recognize that you are putting the temporary before the eternal, as a result of this imbalance corrections are needed as quickly as possible.

As you are doing this, establish the priorities by which you will make future decisions and responsibilities, you need to begin taking out of your life, intentional and destructive habits replacing these and surrounding yourself with godly counsel and God’s guidance, surrender ALL to the MOST HIGH so as to prevent returning to the ‘old man’ of the past,.
These steps may in many case take time, radical devotion and energy, but on the long run is worth it.
