When Jessica Became A Christian She Was Excitedly Happy! She Vowed To Praise And Obey God Every Day! "Nothing" Was Going To Stop Here From Pleasing God. Suddenly Jessica Lost Employment. She Then Faced Obstacles To Gain Income. She Was "Viciously" Slandered. What Is More Most People Believed The Deceptions. Jessica Lost Her Apartment And Had To Move In With People She Did Not Get Along With. Every Day Seemed To Be "Drama" For Jessica. No Matter How Much She Praised God And Did God's Will He Never Seem To Bless Her Concerns. Jessica Began To Feel That God Wanted Too Much Attention But Gave Back "Little" To Really Help Her. Have You Ever Felt That Way Before?
In First Samuel Chapter 13 God's Servant Samuel Gave King Saul Instructions Regarding A Sacrifice. Saul Initially Obeyed God's Command. Samuel Then Failed To Appear On Time To Offer The Sacrifice. King Saul Then Offered Up The Sacrifice To Appease The People. Samuel Then Appeared And Rebuked King Saul. In First Samuel Chapter 15 Saul Again Disobeyed God And Samuel To Appease The People. God Then Prophetically Stripped Saul Of His Kingship.
What Can We Christians Learn From 1 Samuel Chapters 13 And 15?
1) God Does Not Work On Our Personal Time Schedule (Habakkuk 2:1-3)
2) We Should Never Base Our Decisions Based On What Others Are Saying Or Thinking (Proverbs 29:25; Proverbs 3:5-7; Psalm 112:7; Philippians 4:6-8; Matthew 6:25-34).
When God Allows Us To Go Through Any Situation Other People Will Probably Be Affected. Job's Wife And Family Were Affected. The Men On The Ship With Jonah Were Affected. The Twelve Apostles Were Affected. The Bible Advises Us Not To Worry About Anything In This Physical World But To Keep Our Eyes "Lifted" To Jesus Christ (Job 1:1-20; Job 2:1-20; Jonah 1:1-17; Matthew 14:20-33; John 3:14; Matthew 17:8).
Most Persons Will Feel That God Is Expecting Too Much Attention (Being "Needy") And Being Overly Exacting (Demanding, Expecting). What A Human's Expectations Are Not Meant They May Feel That God Is Dishonest Or Unreliable.
If You Are A Bible Obeying Christian Your Feelings Are Totally Normal For A Human. Moses Went Through The Same "Process". Some Of The Funniest Conversations In The Bible Are Between Moses And God. Moses Often Questioned God's Veracity And Ability To Fulfill His Promises. God Will "Prove" The Ones He Loves. This Proving "Process" Often Causes Them To Cry Out To Or Against God's Way(s). God Uses Such Opportunies To "Eventually" Show Up And Make Himself Known (Numbers 11:11-15, 18-23, 24-26; Numbers 11:1-35); Exodus 3:1-22; Psalm 69:1-4, 14; 2 Corinthians 12:1-14; Deuteronomy 8:16; Hebrews 12:5-29; John 15:10-15; Job 32:1; Job 34:5; Job 38:7; Proverbs 16:2; Proverbs 21:2; Psalm 34:15-19; Psalm 55:22; Matthew 14:20-33; Matthew 27:45-54).
So If You Are A Bible Obeying Christian Expect Things To Go Wrong. There Will Be Delays, Deceptions And Set Backs. Try Not To Focus On These Unwanted And Evil Reports. Focus On God The Spirit Who Has Promised Never To Leave You Nor Forsake You Or See You "Moved". Yes Jessica Did Have To Physically Move But Spiritually Her Position With God Was ROCK Solid (Habakuk 2:1-3; Matthew 14:20-33; Matthew 27:45-54; Psalm 112:7; John 4:24; John 3:1-8; Hebrews 13:5-6; Matthew 6:25-34; Philippians 6:4-8; John 3:14; Matthew 27:8; Psalm 55:22; Psalm 16:8; Psalm 21:7; Psalm 46:5-6; Psalm 62:2-9; Psalm 121:3; Deuteronomy 32:15; 2 Samuel 22:47; Psalm 18:2, 46; Psalm 95:1; 1 Corinthians 10:4).

Now Let's Address The Question "Is God Needy, Exacting And Unreliable".
1) Is God Needy And Exacting?- No God Doesn't Need Anything From You Or Me. Each Day We Should Be Praising And Thanking God For Earthly Life And Heaven's Eternity. Praise God!!! However God Does Expect Us To Love, Obey, Praise, Thank, Grow With And Worship Him Regularly. God Must Take First Place In Our Personal Lives. God Usually Only Seems "Needy And/Or Exacting" When We Focus On What He Isn't Presently Doing Instead Of All The Things He's Already Done (Including Jesus' Crucifixion) (Matthew 10:34-40; Matthew 16:21-28; John 21:15-17; John 15:10-15).
2) Is God Unreliable?- Most Definitely God IS Unreliable. Human Time Clocks Are Based On Hours, Minutes And Seconds (Finite). God's Time Clock Is Based On Eternity (Infinite). No Matter What Occurs In This World Or What Satan Does, God Can Do The Impossible. If Our Faith Is Where It Should Be Will We KNOW That All Things Work Together For Those Who Love God And Everything Will Be "All RIGHT" (Isaiah 57:15; John 3:16; 1 John 1:7-10; Matthew 17:20; Matthew 19:26; Romans 8:28; John 15:10-13; Matthew 9:23-31; Exodus 15:26; Psalm 107:20).
So Yes You Will Suffer Emotional, Physical And Material Losses In This Life. Just Remember That This Life Is Not Your Home. Keep Your Eyes, Mind And Heart On Jesus (God The Spirit). Keep "Walking In Spirit" And You Will Eternally Be Greatly Blessed.
