You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in You
-Isaiah 26:3

Jesus told us that in this world we would have many troubles. When going through trials it would do us good to remember Jesus also said that He has overcome the world and that in Him we may find peace. Jesus is the only means for peace while living in this world. He gives us a peace that passes all understanding so that in the midst of the storm we may say "It is well with my soul" because our mind is "stayed" on Him. We need to trust Jesus's words and His promise to carry us through for the One who called us is faithful.
