How do I love you? Let me count the ways
Should I count it by weeks, or by minutes or days
Should I count it by bushels, by pecks or by pints,
Or the shortness of elves, or the tallness of giants?
If I measured the depths of the deepest sea,
Would that be how much you mean to me?
Or what if I measured the mountains high
Or even the world from side to side?
I'm afraid these measures would never do
So let me just say from my heart to you,
My heart is overflowing with love to give
To youm my granchild as long as I live
To measure my love would be an unending task
So I'll not even start, don't even ask
Just know that I love you forever and a day
And forever I'll be thankful God sent you my way.
