When life hands you a difficult set of circumstances, this is when you must determine whether or not you're going to fight back or let the enemy steal your privileges and rights in Christ. You must enter into battle with your shoes shod in peace, and your hearts and minds fixed on Jesus, all the while remembering that you are a precious child of God, and that no matter what lay ahead to try to destroy, that it will never defeat you so long as you know who you are in Christ Jesus. When the heat is on - YOU must turn up the heat in the Lord, and get into His word and start speaking out your words and confessions of faith. This is how YOU defeat the enemy, by turning up the heat on HIM! The enemy hates it when you step out in faith like this! There's no way he's going to hang around you when you're getting all fired up for the Lord! Prepare yourselves for battle! Put on the full armor of God. And delight in knowing that everything will be turned around in your favor. This is the word of the Lord, HALLELUJAH!
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints."
All glory to God for these words, Amen.
