Sightless and narrow minded.
Open my eyes to grace,
That they might see your face,
Smiling so encouragingly,
Shining your faith in me.
Open my eyes to hope,
That they might heaven's rope,
You extend to all sinners,
Whether losers or winners.
Open my eyes to mercy,
That they might see the worthy,
Of hearts like mine, beat frail,
Who always try, but sometimes fail.
