Salvation is just that simple; accepting Christ as Lord and Savior of our life. It is however our choice to continue to say yes I will obey or I wonít. Christ is our redeemer. He paid the price of our redemption which means in strictness; deliverance by payment of a price or ransom, hence, metaphorically at any great cost or sacrifice. He has delivered us from oppression, violence, sickness, captivity, and death. He has given us redemption by power; the Messianic salvation. We have been blessed with spiritual blessings, knowledge of salvation, remission of sins, holiness, guidance, and peace. God reasons with us even when we act rashly. The thought of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want. We hurt ourselves when we donít keep our salvation intact because God do reason with our natural understanding to bring us into the spiritual. We are insufficient guides in human affairs that is why the Gospel came through Jesus Christ who was spiritual.
Salvation the underlying thought is deliverance from evil, oppression of any kind, and safety from danger, and ultimately, welfare, peace, and happiness. The term can have a secular and temporal meaning but its most prominent signification is a religious and spiritual one, denoting forgiveness of sins which is mediated by Christís redeeming activity, saves from judgment, and admits to Godís Kingdom. The greatest evil in the scriptural view is sin, from which every other evil flows either as a temporal or eternal punishment, spiritual unrest, and accusing conscience, fear of death, diseases, misfortunes, destruction of life, and eternal perdition. From all these deliverance was provided by the Redeemer whom God from love for sinners decreed to send in the fullness of time and He is coming back again.
Isaiah 45:17 but Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation; ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
Isaiah 55:3, 6-7 incline your ear, and come unto me, hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you even the sure mercies of David. Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
God does not have pleasure in the death of them that die outside of Him therefore we must turn ourselves to Him and live. God wants to arise in us as the Sun of righteousness with healing in his wings. He is here for us today to come to him, all of us that labor and are heavy laden and he will give us rest for our souls. Matthew 24:13 but he that endure unto the end the same shall be saved. We as the people of God have to go through. The fire of the Holy Ghost will take us through whatever we have need to go through to be one with Christ.
(A) Abounding means to have salvation in abundance. No matter what comes or goes in our lives we hold on and keep our salvation. Be absolute in your decision to serve and love God.
(B) The blinders must come off. The things that have kept us bound in sin are seen in a new light. The blinders are sin. We once was lost but now we are found, blind but now I see.
(C) Commit to the confession you have made. Commit to the Lord all of you; mind, body, soul and spirit. It takes all of man committed to Christ to receive of the promise made by God to us. Stay away from sinfulness.
(D) Diligence is required that we be true to God to do the Word and keep all that it says do. We must continue to run to the Word, his house and be in fellowship with believers of like passion faith not those in today and gone tomorrow.
(E) Endure affliction as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. He endured the pain and disgrace man brought to him for what he stood strong against. He endured afflictions for his Father and us all the way to the cross and beyond.
(F) Stay faithful to your call, Godís cause and Jesusí purpose. Who is that faithful and wise servant that Jesus has made ruler over the affairs of the soul. We have a call to take care of the things put to our hands to do faithfully and we are a blessed servant for the faithfulness we show as required by God. We will receive a crown of life if we be found faithful unto death.
(G) Give all that is due God; our life, time, talents and abilities. Give of your substance; tithe and offerings. Give God the best we have in whatever area of life.
(H) Humble ourselves to God, his messengers and each other. Be more ready to hear, do and act in accordance with all God mandates.
(I) Become an intercessor in prayer. Give of your time to dedicate it to God that it produces a favorable action and help us in our reactions to life.
(J) Jump up to the plate to serve God. Be the angel that is ready to move when duty calls for action
(K) Keep hope alive, hope thou in Christ. He is the hope of glory. Donít allow Christ and the Holy Ghost to depart and separate from us.
(L) Learn as you transition from earth to glory. Always have an open heart to receive instructions from the Word, Godís people and the Spirit leading and guiding through the terrains of life.
(M) Make the most of this one term for it is for eternity. Sin will make us miss heaven forever. Make up your mind that I will not give in to the enemy but will come out victorious.
(N) Recognize the need for Christ in our lives like never before and do those things that are pleasing to God. There is a need in the life of Godís people to grow and grow continuously to gain strength in Godís Word. Get strong and stand for righteousness.
(O) Drop the oops from our vocabulary of our life in Christ Jesus. Itís time to stop the blunders and failures of walking and falling off of the tight rope. There is a fine line in the middle of the road and it takes a lot of concentration in the Word not to fall off. Bad conduct or sin causes us to stop walking in the way of Christ and take our eyes off of Him where we drown in the sea of sin.
(P) Prepare to go all the way with Christ. Christ went from earth to Heaven and He is coming back again. We too will come back with Him or be caught up in the air with Him. We must prepare for that day.
(Q) In quietness possess we our souls. We are solid when we donít speak our plans, intents, and purposes around the wrong people. God will quicken us through His Spirit when to speak or not to speak. Be careful and quiet to hear from God.
(R) Rest in the Lord. We can take rest and have sweet peace when we trust God and put our all and all in Him. To know God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost is to rest in Him. The Spirit brings about a love like God loves and that love brings about an obedience in totality where we keep his Commandments.
(S) Stand sure of your salvation. Be solid in the Word, study it, and learn of God and his purpose for our lives. Stay the course of holiness, sanctification and righteousness. Allow the Holy Ghost to lead you and guide your feet.
(T) Be truthful, speak the truth in your heart and let truth reign in the inner parts. Salvation in an inside job. Who are we in Christ is not what people look at on the outside but what they see us doing, saying and acting on the outside. Whatís on the inside will show up on the outside. Put away malice, hatred, jealousy and envy and be true in our hearts.
(U) Understand that salvation is not about you but Christ that died for our sins. He didnít think of himself when he went all the way to the cross, died, was buried and resurrected again. He did it for the weakness of men flesh to obey. Man could not do what they were told to do with him here or from the beginning.
(V) V is for the victory of the cross; that victory over death and the grave gave us a chance at living a life god intended in the beginning for eternity, for ever and ever on this side of heaven. It gives us our dominion back.
(W) Watch and pray. Your salvation is nearer than when you first believed. We have to watch and count every step. We take steps everyday whether it be for God or not because every step a man take God does count it towards us gaining eternal life. The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, we must always earnestly pray and not faint in our Christian walk.
(X) Do an x-ray of our lives and see the brokenness and do something about it. Jesus has come to repair, restore, and rebuild those broken parts in our life. He wants to heal what has been broken. We have to trust his ability to do it.
(Y) Stop yearning for things we know is not of God. We must become allergic to sin where the very thought of it makes us sick. To walk into it makes us throw up and to walk away from it brings us a joy weíve never known.
(Z) Awake out of sleep, Jesus is here, the Holy Ghost awaits your call and God is ready for us to say Yes Lord!
There need to be a stirring in our soul where we have a quickening in our spirit to awake to righteousness. God is the God of our salvation, he causes us to forsake anger, help us to have confidence in ourselves that we have Godís goodness. He speaks peace to our soul that we donít turn again. We must stay nigh to the salvation God has given us. He has afforded us the opportunity to live again while we yet live in the world today. We must keep the fear of God in our hearts and allow Godís glory to be revealed in us.
Mercy and truth, righteousness, peace and joy will be ours. Truth shall spring out of the earth and righteousness shall look down from heaven. Let Godís Word come alive in us and stir his Spirit to move on our behalf. The Spirit of God makes the difference in our life where things in our life are not just the usual norm. If we donít put the Word in us daily, no Word will come to our rescue when we need it. The Word daily in keep the ABCís of Salvation alive and holiness and repentance is a way of life. Repentance and confession is always constant in the life of the believer and the Holy Ghost power stays strong where we are ready to serve at all times.
Heartfelt prayer, travailing prayer holds us fast in our salvation.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
