Sometimes, we are forced to our absolute limits when it comes to waiting just so that we understand patience. (We are fortunate if we don't have to wait most or all of our lives.)
Sometimes, we have to be put in a position of helplessness to learn the basic truths about trusting in our God who never, ever loses control.
Sometimes, we are forced to search for Him when it seems He is silent, only to discover His presence in the simple beauty that surrounds us.
Sometimes, we must lose everything that holds any value in our lives to reach the point of coming to the end of ourselves so His brilliance can shine in our lives over our own "little lights." (This is the reality behind true sanctification.)
But, at ALL times and through ALL things, He remains unchanging and faithful to accomplish His Word in the lives of those who serve Him with the fullness of their hearts. It is by this that we can be assured (FOR WE KNOW) through ANY trial that...
ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THEM THAT LOVE GOD, TO THEM WHO ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.
Few enter in through the narrow gate... I suppose it must have much to do with what one must willingly step through and what one is willing to give up on the way to ever reach that gate in the first place.
It really is for our Good, Thank you for speaking to me, it was as if you pulled up a chair and had a lovely conversation, that I simply couldn't get enough of, thank you for who you are, but most importantly for Whose you are, thank God I've met someone who is called to HIS purpose, thank you for being content to being my light when I couldn't seem to find my way, my prayer is for the Blessings of Christ to overtake you, Thank you and bless your name, you are a beautiful writer. Thank you.
A truer word was never spoken, for when I have been in the depths of despair have I most clearly, most gratefully seen his marvelous Light. Lovely, Treava. Kay
