A MESSAGE TO THEOLOGIANS WHO ACCEPT THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION
How can a Christian theologian accept that the theory of evolution is compatible with an all powerful and benevolent Creator? What kind of God do they believe in?
If God caused a big bang and stepped back to let nature takes its course, then he has no more involvement in the processes that followed the explosion! Is God of no importance because everything can be explained by natural forces, which require enough time to transform inert material into living matter and then to change the evolved creatures from one species to another?
What is the point of theologians who believe in the evolutionary origin of humans, promoting a belief in God? Why preach a benevolent God if they donít believe he involves himself in human affairs?
So if we follow their thinking, then let us do as we please, let us eat and drink to our hearts content for tomorrow we die. There will be no judgement for our moral behaviour; neither is there an eternal life waiting for us beyond the grave. Why, because if we evolved then there are no moral absolutes which come with the law of God (10 Commandments).
But we who know God do not follow human wisdom. We follow the wisdom that comes from our Creator.
There can be no harmony with the God of the Bible, who is all wise, all-powerful and is personally involved and concerned about each one of us - with the theory of evolution. Jesus died that we might have eternal life, so let us not follow those theologians who believe in evolution. They may be academically superior in theological studies than we are, but are blinded by their own intelligence. The wearing of a dog-collar is but a symbol of profession but not all who wear it are good at their job. Jeremiah 23:1
Let us pray for them that the Holy Spirit return them to their first love?
