Are you a Pharisee? Do you insist that Sunday is the only day to have the Sabbath? Isn’t that legalistic?
Why not allow God to choose which day He would prefer?
On a day when you feel no energy, why not just curl up in a nice warm comforter and read your Bible? When certain verses seem to jump out to you, talk with God as if He is your best friend sitting there beside you, because He is. Why not learn the words to your favorite song and sing them in praise to Jesus so that they are not just words in the wind like wind bristling through the trees but meaningful love songs filled with joy and gratitude?
Then, you will truly be keeping the Sabbath as it is intended to be, getting your rest, talking with God and singing love songs to Him.
Jehovah does not want you to follow rituals to please Him. He wants your heart. Your actions should be to want to please Him with love and gratitude for His precious and wonderful love He has given you.
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:23-24 New International Version
Except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:20 New International Version
Jehovah does not want you to follow rituals to please Him. He wants your heart. Your actions should be to want to please Him with love and gratitude for His precious and wonderful love He has given you.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Immanuel (God amongst us) guide me in the day and manner where it is our special day of the week where it is just us.I ask this in the name of Him who showed us how to worship You, Jesus Christ.
