There are many spiritual gifts,
But it is the Spirit who gives;
If used properly it uplifts,
And motivates as someone lives.
There are many ways in serving,
Yet having just one Lord to serve.
Some make it sound unnerving,
But just follow the learning curve.
There are different jobs to do,
A gift for each of us to learn;
Each and every one pursue,
A gift which will be their concern.
The Holy Spirit is present,
And is manifested within;
For confidence while pleasant,
As long as not tainted with sin.
The Spirit can you sapience,
Giving a great understanding;
Another having indulgence,
Of knowledge that is expanding.
The Spirit gives others courage,
In faith to fight the fierce unknown;
Others as a doctor or nurse,
For curing a sickness or curse.
Another can work miracles,
Another shows what God reveals;
That hides behind the obstacles,
Which are shut and held by the seals.
Another speaks in other tongues,
Another who can interpret;
While both have filled their lungs,
With help from the Holy Spirit.
