Go Forth!
Luke 9:32
Jesus gave the disciples the authority and the power of God to carry forth His mission on the earth. The disciples took that authority and ventured to the cities and villages of distant lands. Proclaiming the Kingdom OF God and healing the sick, weak and downtrodden wherever they went. Immanuel once again among us, is working His wonders by the mighty power of His Word. Likewise He did in the Garden of Eden in so many days gone by.
He the great light manifesting His spoken Word amongst the lost, dark people of the world, that word that is active, sharper than any two edged sword slicing through to the bone and the marrow. His Word is able to judge the intent of every man’s heart. His spoken Word created two life giving spirits in the first man and women, Adam and Eve.
We too as contemporary believers are created in the image of God and carry within our born-again spirits this same dynamic Holy Spirit power. Today as in the day of Jesus He still commands us” to go forth preaching the Kingdom of God and heal the sick.” So let us go forth and carry out His eternal command.
