Could this be their answer?
An interesting question.
The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesusí resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people. Matthew 27:52, 53 New International Version.
It says that when Jesus died He went into hell.
Why did He who was perfect go into hell?
I just watched a program that said it is recorded by the Pharisees that some of the high priests who died before Jesus were resurrected after Jesus and went before the Sanhedrin. There they informed them Jesus went into hell to proclaim He was the Messiah. Those that accepted Him were to be witnesses for Him and then go to Heaven. Those that rejected Him were left in Hell.
Could this answer peoples question about those who died without Jesus, what about them? How could God punish them if they didnít know Jesus?
Prayer: Jesus Yahweh (God of His people) this is too incredible of a thing for me to grasp and I look forward to Your answering this one of many questions I will eagerly await Your answer for when we meet in Heaven. In Your amazing name I ask. Amen.
May the sweet sunshine of Jesus' precious love bless you today and every day.
