I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 New International Version.
God does not always change your circumstances but He is always there with you through your trouble, tribulation and snares.
Look at Job. God was there with him through his trials wasn’t he?
One time I went through a very bad tribulation. I would cry out:” My God, my God where are you?”
I did not know it then but He was allowing me to go through a fiery tribulation because there was something bad in my life (that I didn’t know about) that had to be taken out in order for Him to use me.
It was not fun at the time but every time it is looked back on thanks is given to God for allowing it.
Are you going through tribulation, trouble or snares right now?
It may not seem like it but God is right there with you.
Prayer: Thank you Jesus Immanuel (God amongst us) for always being there with us through both the good times and the bad. I give thanks for this amazing blessing in Your gracious name. Amen.
