Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6 New International Version
It is important to set aside a certain time every day to have a Bible study with your children.
It may be a good idea when they are young to have a children’s Bible story book.
As they get older you can move on to an adult daily Bible devotional.
Allow the children to feel comfortable asking any questions that come to mind.
If you can not answer their question why not go to an on line Christian parent group and ask them. It is a great recourse for parents.
Do not laugh at the children’s questions. To them it may be a sincere question and if you mock them, they will be hesitant about asking questions later on.
Another thing is to ask them their opinion about they Bible story or daily devotional. Ask them to explain what they think is going on. You may learn something from them.
As they become young adults and leave the nest to go to college or maybe another town for a job, what you taught them will help them stay away from making bad choices and help them make good ones.
Prayer: Please Jesus Rabbi (Jesus our teacher) guide me on when and how to have an effective Bible study time with my children so that they may get to know You. I ask you in Your wise name. Amen.
May the sweet sunshine of Jesus' precious love bless you today and every day.
