When I see those without the Lord
I think I'd rather be lead,
By faith that's planted in the truth
And know the things He's said.
When I see those without the Lord
And what their lifestyle be,
To me confirms I'm better off
With the Jesus Christ I see.
When I see those without the Lord
Who at the church would laugh,
They have nothing that's of worth
When wind separates the chaff.
When I see those without the Lord
And see what they have not,
The contrast makes me appreciate
The life of Christ I've got.
Note : I don't think we should think about God in terms of "what do I get out of it", but I composed this poem after a person whose life is in a mess, told me he is not interested in God. I immediately compared my life to his and thought about how my life is so much better off with Jesus, than his life without Jesus.
