Psalm 37:4 says to "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." What does delighting in the Lord mean?
To me it means,
the recognition that God loves me just the way I am.
that He has forgiven me.
that He is in control and knows what's best.
that He knows what is up the road ahead.,
that in His presence is fullness of joy.
that He is my delight in broken relationships or shattered dreams.
that I will delight in Him not just to have my heart's desires (plural), because my
heart's desire (singular) should be to delight in Him alone.
