The water sparkles,
as the sun kisses it goodnight.
A gold hue hugs the clouds,
as though tucking the world in tight.
The colors of everything,
from the green trees to the frothy blue sea,
intensifies
as if putting on a special show just for me.
A purple haze fills the sky,
and before I know it, it is night.
