Gods love is stand alone

God's love is stand alone
It has nothing to do with me
Nothing to do with my performance
Or whether my behaviour is clean.

God's love is stand alone
Is there even if I've failed
Even if I can't perform
And despite the mess in my trail.

God's love is stand alone
I can never make it change
Nothing I do will influence it
Even when I feel estranged.

God's love is stand alone
It doesn't need my feeding
It doesn't even need my fleshly help
Or a strong believer who is kneeling.

God's love is stand alone
Not like the love of the world
That needs the lust of the flesh
And the eyes and the pride of life.

So God's love cannot be earned
It's not even given as a loan
It's given to you as a gracious gift
So God's love can stand alone.
