Here is a really easy way to initiate a conversation, meet new people, or build a closer friendship. It also helps identify common interests.

It uses an acronym for the word FORM.

F stands for family. Ask someone about his or her family.

O stands for occupation. Ask people what kind of work they do.

R stands for recreation. Find out what people like to do for hobbies, or entertainment, or outdoor leisure activities.

M stands for meeting together over a cup of coffee.

This simple way works great for befriending new visitors at church.
