Is it an astronaut who will fly to the moon?
An artist, a teacher, a pilot, or a dancer?
Maybe a scientist who’ll find a cure for cancer?
Who is it stretching inside a woman’s womb?
Is it a violinist to play a pretty tune?
A poet, an athlete, a lawyer, or a designer?
Maybe a chef for a neighborhood diner?
Who is it yawning inside a woman’s womb?
Is it an illustrator to draw a cartoon?
A doctor, a coach, or a President-elect?
Maybe a soldier who will defend and protect?
Who is it living inside a woman’s womb?
For certain, it isn't a “what” but a “whom.”
This is the reason I’m compelled to be a voice,
living in the womb is a person not a “choice.”
