O how reckless is our reliance on our strength
we reason with little light to see to see the whole
and run with so many holes in our shoes
O see how we raise our staffs our out before us
Seeking to command the world by our words
As the sea devours our walls of protection
We boast of our limited knowledge
We praise, in pride, of our power
We build our towers to prostate ourselves before
All the while barring our ears to wisdom’s call
O look how I dance in the shadows of my destruction
Unconcerned that I stand on shaking ground
Instead of the solid rock of speechless grace
O how reckless is our reliance on our strength
We call ourselves giants but stand as ants
We walk as kings without a servants caring hand
