It is a different thing to stand amongst a group of judges waiting for life and death than living in the freedom of the Lord enjoying His blessedness
"For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8:2 (NKJV)
Pulling the weight of our sins we may drag it no further than the law which waiteth to judge and condemn, however if we could ever receive an offer from the Maker of this law to be free and not to be condemned, we will be the most happy person ever.
The above verse (Romans 8:2) is actually succeeding a wonderful fact which tell us as :-
"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. " Romans 8:1 (NKJV)
If one is in Christ, which is what God wants from all of us, and if one is truly in Christ then there is no condemnation for our sins.
However being in Christ is more important, for ...
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. " 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
Are we a new creation? Is the old gone for which we were supposed to be condemned? of do we still want to have the old and the benefits of the new?
Dear One!!! There is temporary pleasure in sin, however there is eternal joy in Christ and we need the joy of Christ to be free.
Thus let's be in Christ every day, every moment and we will no more be afraid of condemnation, rather we will rejoice in the Lord always.
God Bless,
Abraham
