Life is a journey
in which we all strive
to become better people.
Day after day we fail
and try again.
But that is the reason
for the Atonement.
So we can be forgiven.
Heavenly Father loves us
and knows we struggle
to do what’s right.
But that is the beauty of tomorrow,
so long as we have it,
to try again.
And when that tomorrow
is no longer there,
can we look into Thine eyes and say,
Father, I did the best I could.
Then will He hold you and say,
I know… I was there.
