Some Christian's puts on, much too make-up
can't tell if their real or not
With the fake brows, behind stern looks
that they are so easy to spot
The handshakes given has a hint of discontent
the body motions so stiff upright
And it's a wonder that, it don't break into
when it goes around, being uptight
God forbid if you ever to show some teeth
lips will crack if you dare to smile
Look out dusty winds" don't touch the hair"
got to keep it together like a file
What's wrong in adding some spice in our lives
we can be serious, without being dull
Did you not know, God has a sense of humor
and that was due to the fact of us all
If we all was the same he too would get bored
when there is no laughter from anyone
Only the intellects, living on this planet
but would they be enjoying the sun
What's a little humor while walking with God
open up to enjoy, the rose's of life
And show a few gums and don't be so glum
for anger, can be as bad as a knife
Rid of the egg shells we keep walking on
put down, the cold walls of gray
Get a brush and paint them, with bright colors
so to enjoy what God gives each day
We want the Son to shine from the inside
and to spread on outside too
God's love is not hid, it always shows up
and tell us in how to act and do
The Christian walk, has to do with the heart
and by it we'll know what is real
This is more important to such a wise God
and to him, it is really a big deal
The make-up is about false things of the heart
and greetings, that's done in lies
The motions are acts, that is only pretense
and the fake brows, speaks of the eyes
The lips are snobbish, ways we show
instead of a smile, we clam up
Looking good is ok" but, don't get carried away
you read in the bible about that cup
So let down the halo" and take a breather
ruffle a few feathers on your back
Mess up the pronouns, you'll still be human
and I do know this as a fact
