From the beginning of creation
God had concern for man’s salvation.
And, knowing man could not stand alone -
He sent forth Jesus
His only, begotten, Son.
Jesus came that we’d have life
And more abundantly.
He shined His light o’er all the world
And brought us liberty.
There were no contests to be won
No prize to be given to the swiftest
His coming was a grace of grace -
A blessing for the human race.
His coming would also open the door;
So we could live for evermore;
If we walk in His statutes -
Feed on His Word;
Follow truthfully
All that we heard -
Learn, all we have to do is pray
And He will lead and show us the way.
