Do you have the encouragement?
When you are helping someone out;
Do you make them more confident?
Are you getting rid of their doubt?
Do you have the comfort from love?
That is flowing down from Heaven;
Do you feel the warmth from above?
That all the love has been given.
Do you have the relationship?
With God in being your Father;
By chance does your tongue and your lip?
Know Jesus Christ as your Brother.
Do you have any compassion?
Seeing someone else having pain;
Help them through the situation,
In eliminating their stain.
Then fill me with the joy of all,
Giving me the same attitude;
Do not let me falter or fall,
Getting rid of the awful mood.
Let me be feeling the same love,
That has warmth and the compassion,
To be filling my heart thereof,
In such a heavenly fashion.
Let me live in the harmony,
With just one purpose kept in mind;
Of the love and the melody,
Remaining both humbled and kind.
