A Beautiful Journey
~ OUT OF GALILEE ~
It came to pass, it came to be,
That all would travel by decree;
Each returning to their land,
Honoring this vast command.
And Joseph walked so far and wide,
With anxious Mary at his side…
He knew the time was drawing near;
And every step was causing fear.
It came to pass, it came to be,
They left their home in Galilee!
To journey where God’s light came down,
Unto a place in David’s town!
The strength of God and His beauty bright,
Will come to us and shine His light!
Imagine how their hearts had smiled,
While waiting for this wondrous child…
With words foretold from prophets great,
This Saviour King that we await;
He shall rise up with faith and love,
With knowledge of our God above…
He shall give fame to those unknown,
Redeeming us to reach that throne;
He shall establish on this earth,
The ways to show how much we’re worth!
It came to pass, it came to be,
Out from the land of Galilee…
To shine a way out of the dark,
The Saviour’s journey we embark!
