“Holiday Named for Me”
By: Stephanie Adams
My heart is overflowing,
as I can see You seated on Heaven’s throne
You’re arrayed in glory and splendor,
yet, I can feel Your hearts groan.
My mind begins to wonder
what has caused You so much pain?
I see the tears fall from Your eyes,
and then the answer came.
I bowed on my knees before You,
as the tears fell down Your cheek
I am broken in Your sight,
Then, Your voice began to speak…
“Where do I fit in
to this holiday named for Me?
I’m usually mentioned somewhere
behind Santa, presents, and the tree.
In this time of giving,
the true gift My sheep do hide
For treasures of the earth,
I’ve been pushed aside
Why aren’t you sharing my love
with all the lost and dying souls?
I’ve trusted you to be their guide
but you’ve lost sight of the goal.
I was that baby in the manger,
and the ransom nailed to the cross
I am now resurrected LIFE
still seeking those which are lost
So, in celebrating this season,
don’t forget to remember Me
I am the One who chose you,
the One who set you free
Give this gift this Christmas
truly celebrate in My name
Share My peace and joy
let Me hear your voice proclaim
The preparations have been made
I’ll be bringing my bride home
Forever to be with Me
and the Father where you belong
The time of my coming
is quickly drawing near
This message will bring much joy
to all of those who hear!”
