It took just 2 minutes for a gunman to massacre 20 schoolchildren,6 teachers and then, himself.
In the meantime, his mother lay dead at their family home.
What is wrong with this paragraph?
Everything!
Everything from a mentally disturbed young man who obviously needed treatment to a woman, {his mother} who was registered to hold guns in her home.
I am now quoting from today's West Australian Newspaper.December 17th 2012.
Adam Lanza, had in his hands;
A BUSHMASTER .223 REMINGTON.
A GLOCK 9MM.
A SG SAUER 9MM.
Three semi-automatic firearms.
For the love of God, why did this lady need these firearms?
Isn't it time for the Americans to lay down their guns?
This crime, which was totally preventable, proves that if firearms were not readily available to him, then, this tortured soul would not have committed such an evil act?
Surely, it is time for the American people to call for a referendum. Start by making the ownersip of guns ILLEGAL.
Hunting of animals is ILLEGAL in many Countries today.
So I ask again, why does one need a gun? Why does one need 3 guns?
The old argument would be along these lines;
Guns don't kill people, people kill people.
Which is true to some extent. Yet, if you take away the guns, people may now have to figure out how to take a life without a bullet or bullets, as was quoted in the newspaper.
Many of these children took more than one bullet. In fact, the bodies must have been so horrific, that the parents were asked to identify their children through photographs.
Get rid of your guns, America. NOW!
