Have you got on your spiritual gloves
well armed and ready to fight
For the battles on, no longer prolonged
will you stand for wrong or right
Are you geared up with the word of God
is your armor strong and in place
And have your shields, to withstand the blows
of the things we will have to face
Has your sword been sharpened and in your hands
which is the word of God, on the inside
Is your breastplate ready to offset the forces
when they come and try to ride
What about, the helmet of Salvation
letting the enemy know you've been redeemed
The Gospel of peace we wear it proudly
and this does come highly esteemed
The shield of faith will quench every dart
that the enemy throws at me and you
For we're fighting against what's wrong and evil
and this is what the word will do
So now arm yourselves and stay ready
for each day the battle goes on
But in either way, we will not lose
so dear soldier's, just remain strong
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood
but figfhting evil spirits of the air
So put on the spiritual gloves for the battle
for this is a spiritual affair
