Mary and Joseph came to an inn
The innkeeper said "There is no room within
But I can see you are weary and worn
Maybe there's room for you here in my barn."
Mary and Joseph settled down for the night
They did not notice the star shining so bright
But before morning the baby was born
Did the animals rejoice that
there was room in their barn
Shepherds on the hillside saw
the star shining bright
The angels in chorus sang to them that night
Be not afraid, we bring you good news
In a stall in Bethlehem is born King of the Jews
They came to see baby Jesus there where he lay
Sleeping so peaceful there where on the hay
Mary and Joseph were so thankful that morn
The innkeeper had room for the there in his barn
If Jesus should knock on your heart's door today?
Would you welcome him in or just turn him away?
Would you find room in your heart for Jesus today?
