It's been awhile
Since I've put pen to paper
I forgot how much this gift
Helps to heal me
Heart, Mind, Body and Soul
In writing letters to God
I feel the words flowing through me
He wants to be my eternal pen pal
His peaceful message is being sent
Via heavenly air mail
Some days, His words are not received
Delivery blocked by a closed heart
But neither snow nor rain nor heat
Nor gloom of night shall deter Him
From breaking down the barriers
Following through on His promise
Of opening our soul's mailbox
So today, don't forget to check
For you've got mail
