THE SUN WILL SOON SHINE ON YOUR BACK

Last winter I was travelling on a taxi to pick up my car from the service station. When I got into the taxi I was cold soaked but the heater was not on and the window to my side was facing away from the sun. I wanted to arrive quickly so that I could get my car and help myself with the heater to warm up since it was a chilly afternoon. As we were maneuvering through the traffic a few kilometers later the taxi hit a turn and as it turned the sun started shining on my side and I was glad to be basking in the sun and was warming up.

I saw this experience as a metaphor of what really happens in our lives when we seem to be left out in the cold by the challenges of life. Life can give us a cold look but that can be temporary if we keep moving. When everything seems to be working against us and we are walking under the shadow of death we should know that there is only one strategic turn and everything will turn towards us. That one turn will leave the sun shining on your back as well.

Be positive about life, think positively and remain optimistic and enthusiastic about life. As much as the skin has some dark spots and yet they don’t determine or change the colour of skin, so are the challenges and depressions in our lives, they don’t really change what our future or destinies should look like. You might be cold soaked in the shadow right now but its just one turn away and the sun will soon shine on your back.
