PROSPER IN MIND

The key to prosper in mind is to renew our mind with the Word of God and it is a continuous process that should take place every day.

In the beginning, Adam and Eve were in perfect communion with God. When sin entered, their minds were affected and their thought process was not in line with God’s thoughts. Immorality and wrong kind of living came as a result of sin.  To get relieved from this wrong kind of living, we need to renew our mind once we get saved. Salvation comes by believing Jesus Christ as the Lord of our life. Once we receive the salvation, we get connected to the Spirit of God and next we need to work on our minds to get renewed to walk according to the Word of God. Wrong thoughts lead to a wrong living and right thoughts lead to a right living. When people have right thoughts, their actions will follow producing right results because an action is always influenced by thinking. The right thoughts come from the Word of God.

The transformation that we get by renewing of the mind leads to a qualitative life. Transformation is a process where a little worm goes into a cocoon and over a period of time transforms itself into a butterfly. In science, this terminology is called as metamorphosis.  Christianity is about a metamorphosis, a thorough change that happens inwardly and outwardly. Christianity is a transformation by the power of the Holy Spirit and by the Word of God. You are transformed from a little worm to a beautiful butterfly. The transformation takes place by the renewing of the mind. If you change your thoughts, you change yourself and you change the world. The reason why we need to be transformed by renewing the mind is to reach the divine destiny that God has kept for us. If we do not renew our mind, then we cannot fulfil the perfect will of God.

The way how we think has a lot to do where we go and end up in our life. We always go and move in the direction of our dominant thoughts. The sum total of our thoughts and the kind of thinking that our mind goes through is going to determine what our destiny will be at. A man is always made to go in the direction of his dominant thoughts and that is why the devil targets our mind to put his thoughts in order to ruin our destiny.

The two main reasons why the devil is targeting the mind of the believer is - mind is the place where your life’s decisions are made and another reason is whatever controls your mind will control your life experiences and destiny. Your life is the sum total of the decisions that are made with the mind.

Life is choice driven. Life is made up of choosing, you choose to do the purpose. Choose right thoughts through the Word of God and think on them, so that you prosper in your mind and your life will be prosperous and you will fulfil the perfect will of God.  God has given you a powerful mind to fulfil His purposes and plans in this earth through you. He wants to show Who He is and His power through you to the entire world. Choose God’s thoughts and prosper in your mind.
