when we are down in doubt or fear we always complain and question God. little do we know that God's marvelous plan is to use us for his glory so we can be a testimony. there is no testimony without a test. a river in amazon jungle is just a river but when there is a river in Sahara desert it becomes more precious than gold. that is why for you to be extraordinary you need a test to get your testimony.
for instance look at Rachel, Hannah, Sarah and Elizabeth, could they went down in history not because they were mothers of great men well then we could be reading about Abraham's mother or Isiah mother, but these women went through a hard time in cultural discrimination because they were barren. they were not productive as dry as a desert. the best part is that our good Lord never lets you suffer in vain but for his glory he gave these women extraordinary sons. great men who became a legend.
God's grace is sufficient enough to restore tenfold of what you have lost. job a man who never complained against God went through most tormenting test. he lost his children all at once he lost his property and health but he did not listen to bad advice instead he surrendered to God knowing He is the almighty giver. the good thing about job's pitiful story is that he had a happy ending. God gave back tenfold what the devil had taken.
lets look at our glasses as half full. cups must be emptied for it to be filled with better stuff. maybe you need a financial break through or to mend a broken family instead of saying "why me Lord" just keep on praising saying "God i know you are mighty to save i thank you for you will see me through all this am a live testimony in the making you are using me just as Job your loyal servant give me strength".
when you praise God he will go ahead of you and kill your giants read the story in 1 chronicles 20 the king praised God for victory before he went to battle and you know what his enemies lost before the even started fighting.
Isn't that great? we should always be happy and grateful we are river n the desert and quit complaining.
