Avoiding Adultery

Obey commands of your father,
Do not disregard your mother;
Fasten to your heart forever,
Not to allow them to sever.

The words lead you where you walk,
As they will coach you when you talk;
They will watch over as you lie,
And answer the questions of why.

Command is a lamp taught by light,
For you to do just what is right;
With the warnings of discipline,
If you stray to the path of sin.

That path has an evil woman,
Whose smooth talk is from a demon;
A loose woman with a disease,
That can kill when trying to please.

Never let her go catch your eye,
Her beauty is merely a lie;
A cover to light a fire,
Of a sexual desire.

For a harlot does have her price,
A bargain while they entice;
But if a man that has a wife,
When she finds out he will have strife.

A man with fire in his pants,
That burning makes him take a chance;
For the hunger is too intense,
And does not fear the consequence.

But the punishment none escape,
For it would be the same as rape;
As he will lose all in his house,
Giving completely to his spouse.

So adultery really makes no sense,
No matter the urge how intense;
Because he still has gone astray,
Which God judges on Judgment Day.
