How do you know when you are bullet proof? What does it mean to be bullet proof? It means that I am the elect of God to the foreknowledge of God the Father through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ. As every man has received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. Man will think it strange that you donít run with them to do the things they are accustomed to doing and maybe you once did but itís okay. Itís all a part of being made for your call. They may even speak evil of you but itís okay if you donít live the rest of your time in the flesh tot eh lusts of men but to the Will of God. When we donít seek to please man anymore we are being made bullet proof. We may have once in time past of our lives sought the will, pleasure and acceptance of man but now we are ready to give an account to God that will judge the quick and the dead.
In life there comes a time that we must come to a place that I am only here for Godís purpose and His use. When we come to grips with knowing who it is that is control of life itself we become bullet proof. The key here is the word ďKNOWĒ, many come to know that there is a God and many comes to know that God exist but there is a difference in knowing of and really knowing God. People that know of God only hear the Word but those that know God and have that personal relationship with Him hear and obey consciously, readily, and proceed in life with caution. For this reason was the Gospel preached that we may come alive to all that God is and we can be. We become bullet proof when man knows that they judge us and we continuously live not according as they say but according to God in the Spirit.
Godís purposes are not to be resisted by man and we are not to associate ourselves with people that we expect to be broken into pieces by. When man takes counsel together against us God is yet with us, for He speaks with a strong hand. We Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself that he be our fear and dread for He will make His Sanctuary in us that any stumbling block, stone of stumbling, or rocks of offence shall come upon us in our journey through earth will be snared. Even with God sanctified in us many shall stumble and fall, and be broken and be snared, and be taken. We are to bind the testimony of Jesus Christ up in our hearts and minds to the point which we are willing to wait on God for his instructions to us. We are to look for God the more in our period of waiting. We know we have a battle ax in Christ so the battle is the Lordís but Satan throws out confused noise. We no longer walk in darkness but light because we have seen the great light; Jesus Christ that God sent to dwell in the land of the shadow of death.
In the natural a bullet we are talking about a round or elongated missile made of lead to be fired from firearms. In the spiritual Satan resembles a bullet that comes in a deceitful form he uses to call attention to himself very fast and inaccurately except he wants us to think itís accurate. Just like a bullet he comes to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus came that we might have life and that more abundantly. Jesus has taken our lick and we are bullet proof. He has given us the proof that He is there to run interference for all the fiery darts of the enemy. He promises a shield of faith for our protection no matter how man thinks you have been beaten up by lifeís issues. I Peter 4:12-19 beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: but rejoice inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christís sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God rest upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
Bullet proof means we donít get caught up time and time again with the same lick. It means we have grown to a point of strength in some area and have knowledge of Satanís devices in those areas we have perfected. It donít take God long to do what He wants to but to prepare us for what He wants out of our lives in the earth; it takes time, changes, longsuffering, wrath and some disappointments. God threatened to destroy Babylon in. Isaiah 13:6-9 howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every manís heart shall melt; and they shall be afraid; pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth; they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. Behold, the day of the Lord cometh; cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate; and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. We are to be careful of the things we get caught up in because we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that we should show forth the praises of Him who hath called us out of darkness into his marvelous light. It is God that created and made the earth and man so itís at His prerogative to cut down, cut off, or destroy whatsoever He wants to. We are bulletproof when we can find ourselves not submitting to the pressures of the world or stumbling at the Word of God.
