You were brought back to life with Christ,
All for you He was sacrificed;
Because of His eternal love,
Focus on the things from above.
You should be able to see,
All the things as they ought to be;
As Christ holds the dominant place,
Compassionate to send His grace.
Things from above keep on your mind,
With remaining humbled and kind;
Far away from the worldly things,
That joy temporarily brings.
You have died your life is hidden,
No longer is life joyridden;
Christ is your life and Christ in God,
To whom you should honor and laud.
For when He returns and appears.
Others will tremble in their fears;
But you will not be feeling grim,
In glory you will be with Him.
Put to death the worldly in you,
Prioritize in God be true;
No matter the lust or the greed,
It is merely a sinful weed.
For these sins will cause His wrath,
Come directly upon your path;
Because your sins do anger God,
And He has declared you a fraud.
