Thank you Lord for all my suffering,
For it draws me closer to you.
Brings me close to my brother’s in Christ.
Fueling my worship and my praise.
Suffering is not a curse I deserve.
It is a blessing from God Above.
Thank you Lord for all my struggles.
For then the promise of your comfort comes.
My rejection, opposition, and weakness
Bring glory in your successes.
It is not an enemy, but a close friend.
I don’t seek it, but I accept it.
Thank you Lord for you are;
The Father of all the mercies I see.
The God of all the comfort you bring.
It is easy to thank you for what you provide;
Health, wealth and prosperity.
You didn’t promise a trouble-free life.
You promised me only I would see.
Adversity, rejection, and suffering.
They work together for the good in me.
If I truly count all things to be loss,
“In All Things” will I give you thanks.
For all things that come from You; are good!
