THE RAPTURE GENERATION
With the outcome of the election and another four years of Obama's leadership, many Christians are finding themselves overwhelmed and fearful of the future. Is our freedom to worship the God we place our faith in and speak out for threatened in the days ahead of us? Will we suffer physical persecution like believers do in third world countries? Will we be accused of hate crimes whenever we speak out on sin? These are just some of the questions that are running through our minds at this time. We must remind ourselves continually that "GOD IS IN CONTROL". He is all power and can put into place or remove any leader he wants. He also has his timing and plan for all events that happen worldwide. Let's look at just some of the pieces of the puzzle.
1. The election this year was held on the eve of the Samhain...the witches ball when they come together in their covens to celebrate and prophecy about the future.
2. The Nobel prize was awarded to Obama before he did anything to deserve it. Could the Nobel people have had a premonition of the future that this man, Obama, would negotiate the final peace pact between the nations and be known as the
" man of peace"-- just prior to the beginning of tribulation spoken of in Revelations? If so, this tells believers that the rapture is coming soon.
3. Did not our leader confess publicly that he was a Christian, believed in Salvation through Christ because that is what he was taught by his mother and in the same breath defend and protect the Muslims and Islam through his actions? This would indicate to us that Obama is a prime candidate that will unite all religions under one banner in the New World Order.
The pieces of puzzle are fitting together telling believers that the time is short...our Lord is coming soon to take his children out of this world (rapture) before the hour of judgment. We are the rapture generation. Are you ready to meet the Lord face to face? "And now, my little children, stay in happy fellowship with the Lord so that when he comes you will be sure that all is well and will not have to be ashamed and shrink back from meeting him." I John 2:28
Will your faith in the Rock of our Salvation (Jesus) be strong enough to stand the winds of persecution, verbal or physical? His word tells us " Come unto me and I will give you rest--Wear my yoke for it fits perfectly and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble and you shall find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens" Math. 11:28-30. Do we truly know and love Jesus above all else the world has to offer? There are questions we should all be asking ourselves at this time so that our faith is firmly planted in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Peter started to sink in the water because he took his eyes off the Lord. Will we sink into the mire of the world because our faith is weak and we’ve lost contact with the One who can save us and give us strength to face whatever comes our way? The future looks bleak and foreboding but for born again Christians we follow the light, the light of Jesus. "Before anything else existed, there was Christ, with God. He has always been alive and is himself God. He created everything there is--nothing exists that he didn't make. Eternal life is in him and this life gives light to all mankind. His life is the light that shines through the darkness and the darkness can never extinguish it." John 1:1-5
He is the future King of Kings and Lord of Lords and someday soon every knee shall bow and tongue confess that He is the Lord. Better days are ahead for believers when Satan will be locked up and Christ will reign as King of the world. "But you dear friends, must build up your lives ever more strongly upon the foundation of our holy faith, learning to pray in the power and strength of the Holy Spirit." Jude 1:20
I would encourage Christian everywhere to stay strong in the faith and keep your eyes on Jesus in the days ahead --He's coming soon for his own. " He is King of the ages, the unseen one who never dies, he alone is God and full of wisdom, " Amen
