Face down, before your throne I fall
Silent and trembling, feeling so small
Things that I cling to, that make me secure
Fall from my hand and drop to the floor
Defenceless and open, surrendered to you
Transparent before you, nought hidden from view
I weep tears of joy, and whisper your name
Praising the One who wiped out my shame
How can I lift my eyes to your face?
I'm lost in the wonder of your glorious grace.
You reached down and lifted me up to your throne
Secured my heart and made me your own?
I'm amazed that you carved my name on your hand
So long ago, this moment, you planned
It's too much for my fragile heart to take in
I've so much to say, but where to begin?
While my tongue seeks out the right words to say
Here in your throne room, kneeling I'll stay
My heart will pour rivers of love back to you
And worship and honour and all that you're due.

Is there anything that compares to being in the presence of our Father? You have captured the essence of it as close, I believe, as one possibly can. There just is no description.
