Mom and I are taking time in creating you a nest
I love you a lot, although we haven’t met yet
Whether a boy or a girl, makes no difference to us
That’s God’s choice; He will do what He must
Perfected in that likeness of both mother and father
Yet complimenting both, more precious than either
I pray that your obedience to God surpasses us both
Having a faithfulness to Christ in an undying oath
Your life will fill a void in your mother’s loving heart
And a dream that I have of which you play a part
Will you be in missions, a preacher, or teacher?
Will you have mother’s eyes, my fingers in feature?
We can’t wait to hold you and cuddle in the night
