Can we differentiate between disasters and non-disasters? When there are no disasters the Government bear no increase to the deficit. But when we have disaster after disaster it increases the federal deficit. What else do we expect a President to do, let us starve and die out there? Let's see what happens next week. God spoke on last week that a storm would show up before Halloween, see who comes to the aide of the people or if they will be forgotten. The weather has been irate for seven years now. Our country has had unusual weather and people has lost and lost in every area of life. We have had food to eat and a place of refuge though and it didn't come by way of another nation or person other than those in Washington. You wonder why the budget is as it is? These disasters are not budgeted and cannot be because we don't know.
A Law is a rule of conduct, enjoined by a competent authority, and if need be, enforced by penalties. Customs which naturally arose in the intercourse between members of the same society frequently gained such acceptance that the community finally resolved to adopt and enforce them as laws. But a law may be imposed by a ruler, human or divine, without reference to previous custom or legislation. It may be imposed by the constituted authorities of the state, which are ordained of God or proceed immediately from God, being revealed in a supernatural manner audibly as at Sinai, or through the Spirit to prophets or made known in the constitution of our nature.
They that fear God and keep His Commandments are wise; and the godly wisdom which they have acquired from the study of the written law, from observation of the human heart, and from a life of holiness, when given forth in instruction is the law of the wise which is a fountain of life. When parents teach their children the law of the father and mother they are to obey and when they do obey it is a chaplet of grace about their head. The law is for everyone, male and female, Jew, Gentile or Greek. Godís judgment concerning his law is impartial for we are inexcusable. We are however sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit sin. We must realize that God will judge man according to His law that we have hardened our hearts against. We treasure up wrath to ourselves against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God who will render to every man according to our deeds.
Godís Law, the term law with the definite article, but without other qualifying word occasionally refers to the whole Old Testament in general. It was Godís intent that man would abide forever in the earth and that man would never die a death. But because man has stopped hearing God and heeding to the voices of other men they are not children of God in understanding. We see this because of the malice that rest in the bosom of foolish men. For God is not the author of confusion but of peace as in the hearts of all men.
In Paulís time of ministry it was said in I Corinthians 14:34-40 that women were forbidden to preach. In Adamís time he was the spokesman and Eve was to be quiet and listen. As long as Eve was quiet and obeyed her husband all was well. But when she went to speaking, she spoke to the wrong somebody. She obeyed the wrong somebody and we all still today suffer from that disobedience. That disobedience brought forth death to the Spirit of God in man and another Man (Jesus) had to be made to come to the earth in the same birth fashion as a man to redeem man from their disobedience to Godís law.
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life. But to them that be yet contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath. We choose tribulation or anguish upon our own souls because of the evil we do. God has no respect of persons, for as many as have sinned without law; and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law. We must not be just hearers of the law but doers that we be justified.
The Law of Man came to the Gentiles which had not the law but do by nature the things contained in the law. These having not the law according to the Jews are a law unto themselves. But yet supposedly not having Godís Law they do show the work of the law written in their hearts with their conscience also bearing witness and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another. God didnít condemn them; but now we have the Law since Jesus came and when God judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to His Gospel we are included in also. We are responsible to know the law, Godís will and to approve the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law. Now we are made confident that we are guides of the blind and a light to them that are in darkness. We are to be instructors of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which have a form of knowledge and the truth of the law. If we teach the law then we ought to obey the law ourselves. We are to be circumcised in our hearts, in the Spirit, and not in the letter and our praise is not of men but of God. Therefore we must obey the laws of man as well as that of God.
The Perfect Law of Liberty converts the soul. The statues of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the Commandment of the Lord is pure. If we only open our eyes as Jesus did at Gethsemane when He went to pray and came back and found his disciples asleep we can make the decision to walk in the perfect law of liberty in Christ Jesus. The disciples could not stay awake one hour while Jesus went to pray. He prayed in the flesh to God to let the cup of death pass over him; his flesh did not want to die but stay with those whom he loved in the flesh body. After finding them asleep he realized the weakness of the flesh and repented to God and prayed again ďnevertheless Father, not my will but thy will be doneĒ. We need to go back sometime and see if the prayers we pray is really the will of God for us. The perfect law of liberty will open our eyes that we will behold the wondrous things out of Godís Law. The Law of God is good. The law is not made for a righteous man but for the lawless.
