Addiction is the condition of taking harmful drugs or things and being unable to stop taking them. In other words, addiction may refer to substance dependence. It does not only include physical things we consume such as alcohol or drugs but may consists of things as gambling, sex, work and internet, to seemingly harmless product like chocolate, food, fruit drinks and so on.
The causes of this dependency on things or substances may be due to many things. For example: depression, poor self-esteem and lack of good parental care. It may also arise due to some physical and psychological factors which grow with us as we mature. No matter the cause of this addiction and the stage you may be, there is a word for you today; the Lord cares about you and he can help you of that situation. You may ask how? Let him take charge of your life. Surrender to him and youíll be glad you did, but first, you need to have a strong desire of saying goodbye to it.
When you have this desire, pray to God for victory over it. Though you may not experience immediate victory or transformation, since itís something that has been for quite some time, you have to keep trusting him. Start studying his word, let it control your thoughts and possess your mind. As you do this, begin to fashion your attitude in accordance to the word of God. When you keep up with this, your mind gets transformed and renewed in your relationship with God.
Look for a church that teaches the true doctrine of Christ, the undiluted word of God and fellowship with them. Grow in faith by having constant communion with God and allow the Holy Spirit to be your constant companion, perfecting your victory over that addiction forever.
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

You make some great points in this piece. I think sometimes humans can be addicted to control and things are so much better when we give God control. The only thing I'd suggest is to double space between paragraphs to give the reader white space. Other than that I think this is a great message with a lot of heart in it. :) Keep writing!
