Romans 7:1b.
... don’t you know that the law applies only to a person who is still living?
The Law of Moses controls and applies only to living, active people, who can help themselves and manage their own affairs. People who know what to do, how to do it and even have the ability to do it. But GRACE is for dead people. Those dead in Christ. People who cannot help themselves, and so have to be helped by God alone, - that's Grace. The dead person remains absolutely dependent, unproductive and will even decay and stink unless he is helped and managed. That's why the grace of God is the only remedy for boasting, pride and self conceit.
Now, a living, active and aggressive person subject, motivated and controlled by the LAW is no match for a dead, person in Christ Jesus under the control and influence of the Spirit of God! Our death in Christ Jesus in baptism yields us completely to God's ultimate power and control. It makes us superior to the LAW. We stand above the LAW! It is no longer us, but Christ who lives and works in us and through us. This is the easiest and most effective way for God to express Himself to the fullest in us, for us and through us - touching every aspect of human need and endeavour. Therefore, to die to self, being dead in Christ, totally sold out to Him is the most powerful, productive and effective way to live life to its fullest.
John 12:23-26.
Jesus replied, “Now the time has come for the Son of Man to enter into his glory. I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives. Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity. Anyone who wants to be my disciple must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me.
Luke 14:26, 27, 33.
“If you want to be my disciple, you must hate everyone else by comparison—your father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple. And if you do not carry your own cross and follow me, you cannot be my disciple. So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own.
Hebrews 4:9-11.
So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall.
WELCOME TO GREAT MIRACLES AND THE BLESSINGS OF GOD!
