What better gift is there; than a sister?
Who knows us better?
We tell each other our secrets, dreams and fears.
She is the first to know anything.
You can talk for hours and tell her anything without fear.
She’s the first you call when you’re happy or blue.
She’s the one you miss, when she is not near.
She’s the first one to laugh with you, or cry with you.
Sisters are sisters far or near.
She’s the one you fight with just because.
She’s the first one you say you’re sorry to.
Day or night, she is just a speed dial away.
You’re never alone for she is never far from your heart.
She was your first bed mate; you’d talk for hours before sleep came.
She was the one you shared boyfriends with.
Sisters are sisters no matter what.
Sisters just know when you are in need of a hug.
They just know when a swift kick on the behind is what you really need.
When we need a friend, our sisters are always at hand.
So I ask again; what better gift is there, than a sister?
