Where Do We Stand; Worthy or Unworthy
Where Do We Stand; Worthy or Unworthy
Ecclesiastes 10:17-19 blessed art thou, o land, when thy King is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season for strength and not for drunkenness! By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through. A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things.
III John 2 beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
God needs wants us blessed: in all aspects of life, and in all respects!
I. In wealth
II. In health
III. In his word
He needs man wealthy in prosperity, wealthy in health and wealthier in his Word. All these are important because he can use all three.
What can God do with a man that has no money, a church that has no money, and you donít even want a man with no money. God canít use that and we canít either. How will he provide? Speaking in tongue wonít feed you, clothe you or shelter you from the storm. If speaking in tongues could do these things, we wouldnít need anything else especially to elect leaders. In that case we canít depend on them for anything, theyíll be looking in our face. Thatís how God is when we canít do Kingdom Works. We canít do anything for God. Instead weíll always be looking in his face for something, we arenít in his presence just to offer praise, and men are just like God. They want to be praised, loved and adored.
Jesus was a carpenter by trade. He used money. He even had a treasurer. Judas not only betrayed him for thirty pieces of silver, but he stole money from Jesusí treasury, which he was steward over.
When you are prosperous you can help the work of the Devil and not know it consciously. Big business helps themselves not those that labor in the workforce and they put their own prosperity first. It says that they love those that have their own, they demand that you trust them and you reverence and honor them or lose the job you hold in the workforce with their employ. Thatís call poll manipulation; they govern your vote and you have lost your right to vote. Watch them dogs. They have manipulated the Government for as long as they could. Now itís over! Itís time for the rich to stop running the world. God said he would take the rich and give to the poor. Who are these people to buck up against God? God destroys the idols in life.
Itís not about the money, but because we are in love with our money, they only test us in that area. He wants us simply to obey. Are you failing the test? Are you holding your vote back because you are afraid of losing your job? Are you making yourself sick? When you donít do what you are supposed to do, your very righteous spirit is vexed. You curse yourself, your home and your church. God canít bless America like he would because there is sin in the camp, thieves in the camp, disobedience in the camp, a cursed thing, and a curse disobedient thing defiles the house. If we want to deal with Satan himself make the wrong choice in November. Jesus, what else does it take for us to realize the error of our ways?
If some of us donít wake up, we will awake to a downsizing, spiritually as well as naturally. God will no longer permit our ungodly conduct. Conduct permitted is conduct tolerated. God is tired of our unbelief. We have unbelief, because we wonít obey his word. We say we love him, but how can we if we wonít obey. We need to rethink our commitment to God. We donít love him for what he can do for us, but we love him just because he is God. Man doesnít want us to love them for what they can do for us. We donít love them but the things. God feels the same way. He wants us blessed in health because when you are healthy, your mind, body and soul respond to what it need respond to.
A healthy mind causes you to speak to your adversary. When things aggravate you enough then you will speak, loose here. It takes strong men to carry the weight of the world and lead, not necessarily carrying the gospel of Jesus Christ but believing. It took Simon, a man of Cyrene compelled to carry the cross of Jesus. Simon was a strong man. (ref. Matt. 27:32, Mark 15:21)
This is how we gain strength by denying ungodliness and lusts in this world. Why do I need a half million dollar house that no one will live in other than me while there are those that are homeless living on the street every day? That is waste but who cares? It takes strong men to move some things. We have to gain strength and go vote to move things in our lives. We have to learn to stand on the rights we have been given naturally and spiritually. We are never complete if donít recognize things spiritually as naturally.
It takes strong healthy men to lift the standards and stand for God. Strong men will stand up for whatís right. Strong men will set godly examples, which will strengthen others to live for him. Strong men will not take down, give in or give up. They will speak what is of the truth and not lie. Strong healthy men will work to obtain the wealth needed for their purpose here on earth not just for their pockets.
A strong Word based Christian will endure the pressures of life and he learns how to resist, rebuke and retard the devil, that he may walk in health, gain wealth, and live the words of the gospel each and every day.
